I was especially pleased to see Randall Cobb, an ex-UK Wildcat, get off to such an auspicious start. I'm still trying to figure out how he got clear on that kickoff return.
In his post-game interview Cobb said he was scolded for running out of the end zone from eight yards deep. The succes was due, I guess, to raw athleticism and a coverage breakdown.
His touchdown reception occurred, he said, despite his running the wrong route. Get open and He will find you, I guess. ; )
