  1. I don't believe I ever saw or heard Bill Hicks. Think I'll hunt him up on youtube.

  2. I've only ever seen a few of his bits, nac.

He was a very funny guy, from what I have seen. Good article.

  3. George Carlin always, to me anyway, spoke hard truth in his routines. Have to check out Hicks.

  4. Carlin was the best. A spot-on social critic and always funny.

I'm no expert but that strikes me as being tough to do. ; )

  5. NAC - Did you post a comment to see if it would appear? I had to take another look at that first one, thought I had forgotten whose blog I was on.

I never heard of Bill Hicks until now. Too bad he didn't take better care of himself. I think we could have used him the last 20 years.

  6. Skinny, I usually put at least a little comment in the text box when I do a cut and paste like this. Being the first commenter seemed like the way to go for this one, to clearly indicate whose writing is whose. Then I don't have to mess around with " ".

  7. If anyone ever needs proof that there are "corporate scumfucks" leading the US, all they have to do is look at the Goldman Sachs "alumnus" who've worked for just about every president since at least Reagan, and possibly before him.

I'm a George Carlin fan myself. Am totally unfamiliar with Hicks.

Do you prefer the puppet on the right hand or the one on the left hand?

  9. Sherry, anyone who needs proof won't look at it.

Whit, I prefer to see the puppets turn on the master. Or I would, anyway.
